Navigation
All disciplines demand skills in day and night navigation with the help of compass, maps and road book. The maps will be in scales 1:100.000, 1:50.000 and 1:10.000. The navigation is critical in this race, with parts of difficult orienteering.
Kayaking
Kayaking in the ocean, in creeks, and in one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world.
Mountainbike
The biking will take part in great surroundings on roads and tracks. Some of the biking will also be quite technical and one part will be a nice new build downhill section.
Island Traversing
Teams will use inflatable crafts to get from one to another island. The team will bring their own inflatable crafts.
The total length of the Island Traverse is 25km, with 8 water traverses, all from 50 meters to 1600 meters. Total on water: 3,5 km.
Light air mattresses are recommended, there is no need for inflatable kayaks.
Coasteering
The coast line along the High Coast area is often very steep and rocky. The team will be swimming and climbing to progress forward.
Trekking/Orienteering
The trekking and orienteering will be held along trails and out in the wild.
Nice orienteering in the great old woods and on islands in the archipelago.
Rope works
Via Ferrata, repelling and Rope traverses, with the highest safety and professional staff.
Inlines
Inlines on nice gravelled asphalt, poles are allowed and also recommended.
