Athletic Background A former traditional athlete (football, basketball, lacrosse, rugby) that was always “caught from behind,” Scott has now found the sport for his slow twitch muscles. Scott's strengths include endurance mountain biking, road cycling, and trail running. When not training for adventure races, Scott likes to paddle whitewater rivers in New England, cross-country ski, or practice Baptiste Power Yoga. |

Athletic Background Cary grew up in the mountains of Montana, where she has skiied and backpacked since the age of four. In high school, Cary played traditional competitive sports – volleyball and track –and didn't discover endurance events until she qualified and completed the Boston Marathon. Shortly after, she attempted her first 24-hour adventure race (and nearly finished!).

Athletic Background Jason "Shibby" Shibata was a competitive Division I sprinter in college. Since college Shibby has become a skiing addict, drawn to the "steep and deep" backcountry snow in Colorado and Utah.
