Explore Sweden Expedition Adventure Race

Explore Sweden will discover the best of Sweden’s unique terrain.
The racecourse is 500 km and will take you through the wildest and most amazing high alpine terrain, miles and miles of untouched nature.
The disciplines are carefully and delicately chosen to match the course design.

Good navigation is critical for the race, with maps and roadbook. The race includes kayaking in beautiful creeks and lakes, several ropeworks, mountainbike, trekking, kickbike, kickspark, bike&run, mountaineering sections with snowshoes and skis for faster progress.

Weather

The weather will be quite variable, anything from sunshine to snowstorm. During the days it will be around +15 to +20 degrees centigrade and during the nights it can be pretty cold with temperatures below zero centigrade.

Meeting Point

Meeting point will be at Örnsköldsvik airport. From the meeting point the transport will stop both at a supermarket, where all teams can buy the race food, and also at an outdoor shop. The transport to the secret destination will take 5-7 hours…
The transport will be carried out by the organisation and teams will also be transported back to Örnsköldsvik airport after the race. (See schedule for times and dates).

Getting to meeting point

There are different ways getting to meeting point in Örnsköldsvik and here are some alternatives:

Fly directly from Stockholm Airport, Arlanda, to Örnsköldsvik, domestic. If you not book the whole flight to Örnsköldsvik directly through your air company you can book via domestic,

There are also buses going from Stockholm to Örnsköldsvik.
The bus will start from Stockholm Arlanda airport and stop at the bus station in Örnsköldsvik.
