Last, but not least, Team Nomad started out on the kick bike section at 23.05, one hour after the finish line officially closed. A very tired, but still happy and cheerful team Nomad made their way down the mountain as the sun was setting and the cold slowly crept back. The welcome committee of volunteers greeted them as they came to Gielas to put the skis on their backs and jump on the kick bikes. Two volunteers are riding next to them to cheer them on all the way to the finish. Three kilometres down the road, race directors Helena Lind and Mikael Nordström came to greet them in their car. "The finish line has officially closed, but we have reopened it for you," said Mikael. Thankful to be able to finish the race, team Nomad promised to be there in time for breakfast. They are expected at the finish line at about 4 am Thursday morning.
