Only an hour before the race cut off time, Team SOLE crossed the finish line in Kittelfjäll at 20:48 on Wednesday evening. Many spectators and teams that already finished the race had gathered to cheer, and they could watch a very tired but determined team slowly walking across the open field to the finish, completing the 620 km journey. Right after passing under the big Red Bull arc which is the finish line, Paul Romero in the team thanked everybody for being there, and congratulated the other teams for a well accomplished race. Many handshakes and hugs from the other teams were exchanged, and it's obvious that in this sport, no one is really losing.

The last team on the course now, Team Nomad, has just started on the kickbike section. Even though they will arrive after the cut off time there has been many requests to let them finish, and the competition organizers will let them do that. "For the spirit of the sport", race director Mikael Nordström commented this kind gesture.
