The weather is improving

The very last team in the race, American Team Nomad, has been fighting
the clock all day long. Biking through a really bad snow storm between
Vilhelmina and Saxnäs, they finally made it there, with 35 minutes to
spare. They are in a really good mood, looking forward to some food,
sleep and a shower. “We are all feeling great! A little tired with some
sore feet, but that’s all,” said the very happy team captain Scott
Cole. “With some rest we will be fit for fight to hit the mountains. We
will make it in time over the finish line!”
The weather is clearing up, and it looks like it will be a very clear
and nice day tomorrow. Danish Tscherning-Loberen will soon arrive at
CP34 to drop their bikes and start out on the mountaineering section.
Team Sole, Buff and Montrail are still out on the mountain, and Salomon
Suisse have made it almost all the way to Gielas where they will start
out on the kick-bike leg.
