Extensive road ride tours in United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Africa. Trips were typically 3000 mile tours and typically solo.
Completed non-stop ride from Vancouver, BC to Portland, Oregon consisting of 750 km in under 50 hours, 1997.
Completed non-stop ride in the Canadian Rocky Mountains consisting of 813 km in 51 hrs, 1999.
Extensive desert road riding in Mojave, Anza Borrego, Alamagordo, Colorado, Death Valley & Sahara Desert always in peak summer months unsupported for 3000 mile solo trips.
1998, 1999 Death Ride 129 mile 5 mtn pass 16,000 ft ascent.

Climbing/Mountaineering:
Climbed Aconcagua in February, 2004 - highest summit outside the Himalaya and highest summit in the Western Hemisphere at 22,841 ft.
Rock Climbed in the following areas: Squamish, BC; Vantage, Washington; Cascade Mountains, Washington; Coastal Mountains, BC; Red Rocks, Nevada; Gunks, New York; Queens Creek Canyon, Arizona; Chocita Mesa, New Mexico; Joshua Tree, California; Yosemite, California, Banff, Alberta (1987 - present).
Mountaineered in the following areas: Coastal Mountains of BC; Selkirk Mountains, BC; Rocky Mountains of BC and Alberta; Coastal Volcanic peaks of Washington and Oregon; Jemez Mountains, New Mexico, Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho; Grand Tetons in Wyoming.
Summited such peaks as Mt. Hood, Mt. Bachelor, Mt. Shasta, Three Sisters, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Edith Cavell, Mt. Lougheed, Mt. Adams, Mt. Whitney (1990 - current).
Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Kenya, Africa (April, 1996).
Several first ascents in the Mody Dick range of the Selkirks, BC (July, 1996).
Climbed Mt. Kinnabalu, Sabah, Borneo (August, 1999)
