History:
Four years ago I entered my first single day adventure race. I was quickly
addicted to the sport and the opportunity to explore remote and hardly
accessible places, meet fun and adventurous people, and challenge my
fitness and determination to an extreme. With a strong background in
competitive running, I have spent much of my recreational time seeking out
epic mountain trails, peaks and traverses around British Columbia (West
Coast Trail, Howe Sound Crest Trail) and anywhere I travel (Southern
Spain, French Pyrenees, Eastern Sierras of California) that can be run in
a day. While I train to compete, more importantly I train so I can Okeep
up with the boys¹ on epic mountain bike rides and treks in the Chilkotin
Range and Coastal Mountains of BC. Four years after my first race, having
now competed in numerous single day and 36 hour races, I am ready for
Explore Sweden as my first multi-day adventure race and am excited to be
part of Team Helly Hansen. |

History:
I have enjoyed an active / competitive lifestyle most of my life, and upon
completion of my 1st adventure race 8 years ago, have seen the light!! The
thrill of several single day and multi day races have exposed me to what I
hold true to heart today and that is awesome experiences, with equally
awesome people. Adventure racing allows you to push where you never
thought possible, and this is what I think everyone should aspire to
achieve. Great teammates will take you to great places and this is where
Team Helly Hansen will go while competing in Explore Sweden. |
