Explore Sweden Indoor Qualifier 2004

Full speed indoor multisport race on a 1000 m² gladiator arena. The teams will meet in head to head races. The eight best teams meet in the finals.

Conquer a real challenging course with trailrunning, dark navigation, rope and water sections, fitness machines and much more.

The host of the event is Wilderness & Adventure (Vildmark & Äventyrsmässan), April 1-4 at Stockholm International Fairs.

This is the last and only chance to receive an entry to Explore Sweden - Airborne Expedition Adventure Race, June 2-7. Explore Sweden is an AR WorldSeries member.

Rules/Information
Explore Sweden Indoor Qualifier is open for athletes over 18 years old. If you are younger then 18 or just want to try, you can race on spot on a shorter course.
The teams has to have at least one woman in the team.
The racers has to go the correct course. If not, disqualification or time penalty.
No more then 15 meters between the team members.
The fastest time will be 20-25 minutes.
The teams has to have the same 3 team members the whole event.
The racers can not pre-race the course.

Course rules
1. The whole team is allowed to climb the gladiator simultaneously.
2. Backpacks may not be thrown over the wall
3. In the dark zone, the teams may use any available passage.
4. No team member may run outside the tires in the fitness run.
5. No short-cuts allowed at corners in the course.
6. The pipeline has to be swimmed through by all three members. If any team member chooses to skip, another member has to pass an extra time + 30s time penalty. Only one team member may be in the pipeline at the same time.
7. When the last swimmer has both feet on the floor, the jumar set may be picked up.
8. A climb may not start until the race staff has checked the equipment.
9. At the top, the bell has to be struck, after that, the jumars may be released. The race staff then repels the team member down. Both jumar sets may be used.
10. The pipeline may not be crossed until all jumar sets are returned.
11. Rowing: all three machines has to go 1000m.
12. Cycling: all three bikes has to go 5000m
13. Time stops when the last member crosses the finish line.
14. All equipment must be properly attached during the entire race.
15. Failure to obey race staff gives 30s penalty.
16. All rule violations give 30s penalty or disqualification.

You will get your entry tickets at the fair. You'll get them at the information desk at the main entry, on the left side.
If you haven't paid your entry fee for the race, you'll do that when you will register your team at the Explore Sweden Indoor arena inside the fair.
